Celebrate Nonesuch Coffee’s second birthday (officially on July 3) with this coffee from Timor-Leste! While our previous birthday coffees have had a dessert-forward profile, this one is probably the most complex that we’ve offered so far: it initially has topnotes of toasted brown sugar, but the flavor morphs as it cools, featuring a gentle acidity that brings to mind oven-baked berries and stewed pears, and there’s even a gentle herbaceous note in the aftertaste (which is likely from to the Timor Hybrid cultivar, a natural cross between arabica and robusta). We’re looking forward to drinking this one throughout the rest of the year (since birthdays are best when they aren’t limited to just one day).
Birthday Pie costs $24, but we have sold every bag of our current roast. We’ll announce the next roast of this coffee via our email list, so sign up if you‘d like to receive updates on when we’ll be roasting this coffee again!
