Over our years roasting coffee, there are a few coffees we’re willing to buy sight unseen – coffees that are so good every time we try them that we no longer need to sample them to be sure that they’re a Nonesuch buy. Coffee from Kii Factory fits the bill – it’s always a pleasant Kirinyagan coffee, one that typically has good sweetness and brightness and that features typical dark berry flavors. We did buy this particular lot without sampling, and honestly, this coffee was better than we even expected it would be – the sweetness in particular is outstanding, and the flavors of gently stewed dark berries and purple grapes really comes through, with the whole cup finishing with a wave of citrus. We’re looking forward to having lots of pourovers of this one!

Brambleberry Grove costs $23. We roasted our most recent batch 02 December, and freshly roasted bags are still available! You can learn more about this roast by clicking here.
