Over our years roasting coffee, there are a few coffees we’re willing to buy sight unseen – coffees that are so good every time we try them that we no longer need to sample them to be sure that they’re a Nonesuch buy. Coffee from Kii Factory fits the bill – it’s always a pleasant Kirinyagan coffee, one that typically has good sweetness and brightness and that features typical dark berry flavors. We did buy this particular lot without sampling, and honestly, this coffee was better than we even expected it would be – the sweetness in particular is outstanding, and the flavors of gently stewed dark berries and purple grapes really comes through, with the whole cup finishing with a wave of citrus. We’re looking forward to having lots of pourovers of this one!
Brambleberry Grove costs $23, but we have sold every bag of our current roast. We’ll announce the next roast of this coffee via our email list, so sign up if you‘d like to receive updates on when we’ll be roasting this coffee again!
