In its first year and a half of operation, Nonesuch always had a Kenyan coffee in its rotation, so it was odd having a four-month stretch without a coffee from Kenya. We’ve amended that with Tidal Wave, a coffee with orange topnotes, a caramel-tinged body, and a hint of cranberry that rises and falls like a wave. It’s also a versatile, unfussy brewer: while we tend to like most Kenyan coffees in pourover, this one stands out in immersion and espresso brewing as well. We plan on drinking it any time we need to add a bit of summery flavor to our day.
