When we’re sourcing coffees, we’re always excited when we find beans that largely have a typical flavor profile but with a little something extra. This Colombian coffee has that – the primary flavor note is cocoa powder, and there’s a hint of red apple snap in the finish. That may not sound that atypical, but it stands out for just how intense that cocoa powder flavor is – if I didn’t know better, I’d assume someone had poured a heaping tablespoon or two of Dutch process cocoa into my coffee. This one’s already become a daily favorite at Nonesuch HQ, as this is the kind of coffee we could drink every single day.
Infinite Cocoa costs $24, and we'll be roasting our next batch 07 July.
