This is the rare coffee that stood out so much in cupping that we knew we had to order it! This coffee has a crisp green apple and white grape flavor with toasted sugar syrup undertones in the aftertaste. Part of the unique flavor comes from the cultivar – Chiroso – a variety grown in Colombia that is descended from Ethiopian Landraces, though the close attention to processing certainly also has an effect on the cup flavor. This is a sippable cup, but we recommend taking your time drinking it – the flavor improves as the cup cools.
